Red Nose Day Across Our Trust Schools

Our Trust schools proudly took part in this year’s Red Nose Day, with pupils and staff coming together to support Comic Relief through creativity, kindness and community spirit.

Across our Trust, schools embraced the day with enthusiasm, demonstrating the positive impact that collective effort can have. From colourful displays to thoughtful learning activities, Red Nose Day once again highlighted the compassion at the heart of our school communities.

Arundale Primary was transformed into a cheerful sea of red as children arrived dressed in bright outfits, creating a warm and lively atmosphere throughout the school. Staff described the day as “a burst of positivity,” with pupils excited to take part and engage in conversations about kindness and helping others.

At Greenside Primary, generosity took centre stage as pupils raised over £210 for Comic Relief. In keeping with this year’s theme, “Take Yourself Funny for Money,” children came to school with funny hair and accessories, adding a playful touch to the day’s activities. Pupils also spent time learning about the charity’s work and how their contributions help make a difference. Staff praised their enthusiasm, curiosity, and pride in supporting a cause beyond their school community.

Across our Trust, the day showcased compassion, teamwork and the impact of coming together for a good cause.
