Our Chief Executive Officer and Accounting Officer is Karen Burns and our Chair of Trustees is Andy Hodgkinson.
The governance structure of Victorious Academies Trust reflects the requirements of the Academy Trust Handbook and our Articles of Association, combining strong strategic leadership with local accountability across all our academies.
As a charitable company, the Trust is governed by its Members, Trustees and Local Governing Boards (LGBs):
- Members act as guardians of the Trust’s constitution and hold Trustees to account.
- Trustees are responsible for the strategic direction, educational performance, financial oversight and statutory compliance of the Trust.
- Local Governing Boards support and challenge school leaders whilst ensuring schools remain connected to their local communities.
As a Multi-Academy Trust, we operate as a single legal entity. Our Trustees are collectively responsible for all academies within the Trust and work to ensure a consistent vision, ethos and approach to improving outcomes for every child.
Our Trust Board, its committees and Local Governing Boards operate in accordance with the Trust’s Scheme of Delegation and governance framework.
