Gamesley Primary School makes good progress!

Gamesley Primary School, Glossop have secured ‘Good’ outcomes in all areas, when visited recently by the education watchdog Ofsted.

Deborah Meredith, Headteacher at Gamesley said, “ I am delighted with our positive outcome, it is testament to the hard work and dedication of our whole staff team and the wonderful support from all of our families. I am very pleased with the final report and that the inspectors made comment on things that we see every day at Gamesley, to name but a few, ‘our pupils behave well’, ‘our pupils confidently articulate what they have learned’ and ‘our pupils’ personal development is at the heart of the school’s work’. I am looking forward to an exciting future ahead for Gamesley!”

Karen Burns, CEO at Victorious Academies Trust said, “The school has worked tirelessly over the past few years and this was noted by the inspectors, I am delighted to see in the report that, ‘Gamesley pupils are very proud that they attend this happy and welcoming school’.”
