Remembrance Day Across the Trust

Victorious Academies Trust pupils paid their respect for this year’s Remembrance Day in lots of different ways. Wild Bank Community School pupils attended the Remembrance Sunday parade in Stalybridge. The band played ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’ as they walked towards the Cenotaph, the town where the song was written.

Inspire Academy pupils made poppies and took them to the Ladysmith Barracks. Greenside Primary School laid a wreath at Droylsden Cenotaph. Discovery Academy made poppies and some amazing artwork. Gamesley Primary School pupils laid a wreath at Glossop Cenotaph and did some fantastic artwork. Pinfold Primary School, Hattersley made a display to say thank you to our fallen heroes. Yew Tree Primary School, Dukinfield did some amazing artwork.
