Victorious Away Days

Last week, our Headteachers and Central Team came together for two inspiring days at our annual Trust Away Days — a key moment in our calendar to pause, reflect and plan for the year ahead.

The event focused on deepening our shared understanding of leadership and how it continues to evolve in the current education landscape. Through a series of thoughtful sessions and discussions, we explored the values and characteristics that underpin strong, compassionate leadership — all anchored by our core principles of strength, humour and kindness.

One of the standout themes of the event was the role of AI in education, forming part of our work to shape a forward-thinking Digital Strategy. From AI-assisted marking and teacher workload reduction to enhancing pupil engagement and classroom practice, the conversations highlighted both the potential and responsibility we hold as a Trust to innovate wisely and inclusively.

We were delighted to welcome guest speakers who brought their insight and practical experience to these discussions, including Susanne Matthews (Pinfold Primary), who presented on Olex.AI, and Reza Mosavian (Teachermatic), who showcased AI assistant tools for educators.

As always, what stood out most was the spirit of collaboration, curiosity and care that runs through every part of our Trust. We are incredibly proud to work alongside such dedicated and inspiring colleagues — all united by a shared commitment to improving outcomes for our schools and communities.
