Celebrating Our Pupils at Our First Victorious Voyage Awards Evening

On Thursday 9 July, pupils, families and colleagues from across Victorious Academies Trust came together at Dukinfield Town Hall for our first-ever Victorious Voyage Awards Evening.

The event celebrated the achievements, character and determination shown by pupils throughout Victorious Voyage Week, recognising those who have demonstrated our Trust values of Inspiring, Discovering, Caring, Improving and Achieving.

Each of our 15 schools nominated pupils for five values-based awards, with winners recognised for the positive impact they have on their schools and communities. The evening also saw the presentation of the inaugural Nicky Wise Award. Introduced in honour of our retiring Chief Operations Officer, the award recognises a pupil who embodies the kindness, diligence and positivity that Nicky has demonstrated throughout her career.

The evening was a fantastic celebration of pupil success, made even more special by the support of families and colleagues from across our Trust.

Victorious Voyage Week was created to provide enriching experiences that encourage children to explore new interests, challenge themselves and discover their potential. Inspired by this year’s theme, Dare to be Different, pupils took part in a wide range of activities designed to build confidence, resilience and aspiration, both in and beyond the classroom.
