Discovery Academy Hyde celebrates 10 years!
This year, we are delighted to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Discovery Academy Hyde, marking a decade of achievement, growth and community impact.
Since opening in 2016, Discovery Academy has supported hundreds of pupils, helping them develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive. Over the years, the school has built a strong reputation for its nurturing environment, high-quality teaching and commitment to ensuring every child reaches their potential.
The anniversary provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of pupils and recognise the dedication of staff, governors, families and the wider community who have supported the school’s journey over the past decade.
Executive Headteacher Bev Oldham said:

The school has already begun marking the milestone with a fun inflatable celebration and will continue the celebrations throughout the year with special events, displays and activities for pupils and the wider community.
As Discovery Academy celebrates this significant anniversary, we are incredibly proud of everything the school has achieved over the past 10 years and look forward to seeing it continue to grow and thrive in the years ahead.
