Victorious Voices Concert
Our second Victorious Voices event earlier this term, was a great success. Once again Rayner Stephens were great hosts and this time we had to move to the Sports Hall due to the growing number of schools in our Trust, with now 13 schools taking part! The event was hosted again by our Trust Music Lead Victoria Abraham and all ran very smoothly. We enjoyed lots of old favourites, Aldwyn performed ‘A Million Dreams’, Arundale, ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’, Buckton Vale, ‘I’m a Believer’, Discovery performed a medley of pop songs from the Trolls film, Gamesley, ‘Do Re Mi’, Greenside, performed Matilda’s ‘Revolting Children’, Holden Clough, ‘This is Me’, Inspire, ‘When I Grow Up’, Lyndhurst, ‘The Bare Necessities’, Pinfold, ‘Try Everything’, Poplar Street, ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’, Wild Bank, ‘You’ve Got a Friend’ and last but not least Yew Tree, performed, ‘Unbreakable’.
We were treated to a whole Trust performance of The Little Mermaid classic, ’Under the Sea’ which almost took the roof off! We were joined by Karen Burns and our Trust Members (pictured above) who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The event was also supported by Tameside Music Service with Caroline Ratcliff leading warm up routines with the pupils to get them ready for their performances. A great afternoon was had by everyone we can’t wait till the next one!
