Trust Pupil wins Angela Rayner MP’s Competition!

This year at Greenside Primary School, pupils in their Sunflower class have entered Angela Rayner MP’s Annual Christmas Card competition. Sunflower Class at Greenside Primary School, part of Victorious Academies Trust, is a specialist class for children with additional needs. Mrs Judith Reynolds, Headteacher at Greenside said “We are absolutely delighted that Keiran a pupil in our Sunflower class has won this year. Keiran, aged 8, designed the winning Christmas card during an art lesson with our school’s art teacher, Miss Chesney. The children were asked to select a Christmas object to sketch, Kieran selected a Robin, that he named Robbie the Robin. Once the sketching process was complete, he then added water colour paints, carefully focusing on the different sections of his card. Keiran is very proud of his winning card and his personal achievement, he said he likes the red belly of the Robin the best!”
